Honest and responsive group of guys. The owner is directly involved in the day to day operations of the business and they all take time to explain things and answer your questions. Install techs communicate with repair techs in real time to resolve any issues. Affordable prices that are more than competitive. Joe, Damean, JD, Al and another Joe were all involved in the installation of our new HVAC system. They worked as long as it took to get the job done and cleaned everything up afterwards. Great customer service!

First contact was on a Sunday last summer. Called them when my AC quit. Within 2.5 hours, problem was fixed. Last week they installed and new HVAC unit. Very good prices. Joe M and Damian were the installers. Very professional. They did a great job. Cleaned the mess and hauled everything away. Would highly recommend.

Joe Shirley and his company along with Kevin, JD, (the installers) as well as the administrative staff Amy and Cierra were fantastic during the whole process of installing our new Rheem upstairs and downstairs AC and Furnace units as well as installing a new Rheem Water Heater. They replaced a Rheem system that was over 22 years old. They were all very knowledgeable, information, patient with our questions, responsive to our requests, timely in their service, providing quality products with quality installation. They were thorough during the two day installation process as well as explaining the features of the new systems and covering the paperwork and billing afterwards! Joe Shirley, the owner offered a fair price and estimate after
his initial visit. Very pleased with the whole process, they were quick to get our new units up and running, especially during the hottest time of the summer. I would highly recommend Shirley's Heating and Air for the Springfield area for any repairs, maintenance, or installations!!!

Had both our ac and furnace replace last winter. I waited to write the review until summer to see how everything worked. This is the first summer our upstairs has been cool. Previous unit was not big enough to cool it. Very pleased with the work that was done. Another surprise in this heat was how much lower the electric bill has been.

Shirley's replaced our AC unit this summer when the temps peaked in early August. Our 23 year old unit died and they were so fast and easy to work with! The replacement unit was reasonable and we are so happy with their service. I highly recommend this family company!

After a big name company told me I needed a new furnace, I decided to get a second opinion. Shirley's not only tested for carbon monoxide emissions but gave me the peace of mind that it was a small and easy fix. I didn't need a new furnace, and the part was ordered and replaced in a timely manner for a fraction of the cost.

We have had trouble with our existing HVAC for several months. Shirley's technicians have come out to work on our unit several times. We decided to replace the unit after several discussions with Joe Shirley. Their technicians came to install our new Rheem unit. They were on time, extremely professional and knowledgeable. They installed the unit in 1 day. They were careful and protective of our flooring and yard. I would recommend this company and their technicians. Upon completion of the job we will use them to maintain our new unit in the future.

The guys were very helpful and respectful. Our previous HVAC company had gone out of business due to COVID. This was only company that responded to our emergency call when our 14 yr old system started short-cycling during a cold snap into the negative temperatures, which did result in replacing the main floor HVAC system completely the following week. We are very happy to have safe heat again. We are definitely signing on for their routine maintenance for both the main floor and the upper floor HVAC systems.

Excellent service from JD, Damien and Kevin. They replace my hvac one week after the estimate. Other companies had a month long wait. My house is 70 years old which made the install very difficult due to the old plaster ceilings. Damien and his crew stayed after hours to complete the job.

Working with Shirley's has been a great experience. JD has been who has come out and he's prompt, professional and really nice. Jason the owner is fair and has helped us with warranties to help save money.

Our heat pump failed during the recent heat wave. Shirley's Heating and Air sent JD out same day to troubleshoot our system. He did a thorough job investigating our problems. We ended up having to replace our heat pump and indoor coil and they got to us as quickly as possible. In the meantime, they gave us a loaner window A/C unit. That was so helpful and helped us get by until they could replace our heat pump. We have been very happy with the service they provided.

Shirley's is a great local company that has come to our rescue numerous times over the years. Most companies will try to push a new unit on you no matter the issue, but Joe and his team have always done whatever they can to repair the current system and keep it running as cost effectively as possible. They don't make you feel like you wasted their time on small jobs - instead they celebrate with you when they can offer a low-cost fix. When the time finally came to replace our 20-year-old unit, they offered us the most competitive price, showed up on a holiday, and worked into the evening to save us from another night without AC. They were also patient and graceful with us as we worked to pull together the money, which was such a blessing to us. Highly recommended.

What is there to be said that hasn't already been said in other reviews? This company knows there stuff. They treated us like family. When our blower motor went out, and parts were no longer made for it, they installed a new furnace within 36 hours of our initial call. We are very impressed and pleased with their service and look forward to using them for all of our HVAC needs!
